  • Sanjiv Mehta, chairman and managing director of Hindustan Unilever, will be the next president of the industry lobby Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) for fiscal year 22.
  • He will succeed Uday Shankar, the current President of the Media Industry Association.
  • He will be chosen at the chamber's 94th Annual General Meeting on December 18.
  • Mehta currently serves as FICCI's Senior Vice President.
  • Mehta is also the President of Unilever South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal) and a member of Unilever's Global Executive Board, known as the 'Unilever Leadership Executive.'
