Shafiqur Rehman Barq, Samajwadi Party MP from Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh, passed away at the age of 93.
Shafiqur Rehman Barq had a long-standing illness problem, due to which he was admitted to a private hospital in Moradabad.
Shafiqur Rehman Barq was elected MP for the fifth time from Sambhal in 2019 when he contested as a Samajwadi Party candidate.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav also condoled his death and paid rich tributes to him.
