Recently it has increased India's growth rate forecast for the financial year 2023 - 24.
It has set India's growth rate at 6.4% for 2023 - 24.
Earlier this growth rate was set at 6.0%.
Thus, India's growth rate estimate for the year 2023-24 has been increased by 0.4%.
The report attributed the increase to strong internal conditions, offset by headwinds arising from rising food prices and sluggish exports.
