·         The Union Government has selected SL Tripathi as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of United India Insurance Company Limited. He is presently the General Manager and Director in the New India Assurance Company Limited.

·         He has been appointed as the CMD of United India from the date of assuming the charge and till the date of attaining the age of superannuation.
