Russia Launches New Nuclear Submarine ‘Khabarovsk’ Carrying Poseidon Drone

Russia has launched its advanced nuclear submarine ‘Khabarovsk’, designed to carry the Poseidon nuclear-powered underwater drone, often called the “Doomsday Missile.” The submarine was unveiled at the Sevmash Shipyard in Severodvinsk by Defence Minister Andrei Belousov. Built by the Rubin Design Bureau, it strengthens Russia’s underwater deterrence with cutting-edge nuclear and robotic systems. The Poseidon drone can travel intercontinental distances and generate massive radioactive tsunamis, posing a global security concern.
