  • On 21 November 2024, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) targeting Dnipro, Ukraine, marking a significant escalation in the conflict and the first use of such a weapon in combat.
  • The Ukrainian Air Force reported on 21 November 2024 that the attack involved a variety of missiles, including an ICBM launched from Russia's Astrakhan region. It is a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile fired from a MiG-31K fighter jet in the Tambov region.
