Russia has launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. This missile has not been used by any country before in history.
On 21 November 2024, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) targeting Dnipro, Ukraine, marking a significant escalation in the conflict and the first use of such a weapon in combat.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported on 21 November 2024 that the attack involved a variety of missiles, including an ICBM launched from Russia's Astrakhan region. It is a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile fired from a MiG-31K fighter jet in the Tambov region.
