Russia has expelled a British diplomat, accusing them of operating as an undercover spy, further straining already tense relations between Moscow and London.
The move follows a pattern of reciprocal diplomatic expulsions amid long-standing disputes, including those linked to the Salisbury poisoning and broader geopolitical frictions. Both countries have repeatedly accused each other of espionage and cyberattacks, resulting in sanctions and intelligence countermeasures.
