Filmmaker S S Rajamouli's period action blockbuster RRR charted history after ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the Academy Award in the Best Original Song category.
It had to beat the other nominees in the category which included Applause (Tell It Like a Woman), Hold My Hand (Top Gun Maverick), Lift Me Up (Black Pather Wakanda Forever), and This is a Life (Everything Everywhere All at Once).
The blockbuster track won Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards, beating heavyweights like Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
