  • The right-handed batsman Rohit Sharma, known for his hard-hitting, made his national team debut in 2007, playing limited-overs cricket before joining the Test team in 2013.
  • Rohit Sharma also led the Mumbai Indians to five Indian Premier League (IPL) championships.
  • Rohit Sharma has appeared in 116 T20 internationals, scoring 3029 runs and averaging more than 32. He has scored 9205 runs in 227 One-Day Internationals and 3047 runs in 43 Test matches for an average of nearly 47.
