Riya Shirish Tate won her first senior national title on 16 December 2024, performing brilliantly in the women's 25m pistol final of the 67th National Shooting Championship competition held at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range.
Riya won the gold medal by defeating Punjab's Simranpreet Kaur Brar 7-2 in a shoot-off.
