Rishabh Pant broke the record of becoming the most expensive player in IPL history, as he was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for 27 crore rupees for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.
Pant's bid of 27 crore rupees became the highest bid in IPL history, surpassing Shreyas Shankar Iyer's record of 26.75 crore rupees.
