Reliance Industries names Srikanth Venkatachari as new chief financial officer

Reliance Industries Ltd has appointed Srikanth Venkatachari as chief financial officer effective from June 1.
He takes over from Alok Agarwal, who has been CFO since 2005, and will now assume the role of senior advisor to Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani.
Venkatachari is currently the joint CFO for the company.
Venkatachari, who has been sharing a part of the responsibilities of the CFO position with Agarwal for the last few years, has been with Reliance for the last 14 years.
Alok Agarwal, who has completed 30 years with the company, assumed the role of CFO in 2005.
Earlier this week, Mukesh Ambani, 65, was named as the ninth richest person in 2023 M3M Hurun Global rich list.
