The Regional Conference of Ambassadors of ASEAN and East Asia was held in Singapore in October 2023.
This conference was presided over by Indian Foreign Minister S. Done by Jaishankar Prasad.
The discussions during the conference focused on assessing the regional situation and its possible implications for India.
This was the first official visit of the Indian External Affairs Minister to Singapore.
During the visit, S Jaishankar met Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
In this meeting, it was agreed to strengthen ASEAN and keep it away from any factionalism.
