WHO has also launched an international commission on this problem.
This commission is being led by American Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy.
This commission will work for three years.
According to the World Health Organization, the death effect of loneliness is equivalent to smoking 15 cigarettes a day.

Loneliness showed its impact when the COVID-19 pandemic halted economic and social activities and loneliness levels increased.
