  • In November, 2023, the Union Cabinet has approved the Pradhan Mantri Tribal Justice Maha Abhiyan.
  • The Scheduled Tribes of the country will be developed through this campaign.
  • These will be the scheduled tribes who will be the most backward.
  • This scheme has been named 'PM-Janman'.
  • Under this, focus will be on 11 important areas through 9 ministries including the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
  • The total outlay on this campaign will be Rs 24,104 crore.
  • In this, the Centre's share will be Rs 15,336 crore and the states will contribute Rs 8,768 crore.
  • This campaign will be run especially for Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG).
