In November, 2023, the Union Cabinet has approved the Pradhan Mantri Tribal Justice Maha Abhiyan.
The Scheduled Tribes of the country will be developed through this campaign.
These will be the scheduled tribes who will be the most backward.
This scheme has been named 'PM-Janman'.
Under this, focus will be on 11 important areas through 9 ministries including the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
The total outlay on this campaign will be Rs 24,104 crore.
In this, the Centre's share will be Rs 15,336 crore and the states will contribute Rs 8,768 crore.
This campaign will be run especially for Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG).
