Recently a review meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) was held.
Bulgaria has been included in the gray list in this meeting.
Additionally, Cayman Islands, Panama, Jordan and Albania have been removed from the 'grey list'.
The gray list includes countries that do not meet the organization's anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing and proliferation financing standards.
The countries placed on this list will be subject to increased surveillance until the identified deficiencies in their regulatory framework are resolved.
Bulgaria is a Balkan country located in south-eastern Europe.
