IRCON International Limited is a public sector company.
It is working under the Ministry of Railways.
Recently IRCON International Limited has been given the status of Navratna company by the Union Finance Ministry.
It has become the 16th Navratna company of the country.
The main work of IRCON is to work in the field of railway, highway and extra high tension substation engineering sector.
IRCON International Limited achieved turnover of Rs 10750 crore and earned profit of Rs 765 crore in the year 2022 - 23.
IRCON International Limited was established in the year 1976.
The scheme to declare Central Public Enterprises as Navratna companies was started in the year 1997.
