Surendra Adhana is a senior Indian diplomat.

He has been appointed again to this committee.
The Consultative Committee is an expert committee of 21 members elected by the General Assembly for a term of three years on the basis of broad geographical representation.
The tenure of Surendra Adhana will be from 2024 to 2026.
The main functions of this Committee are to examine and report on the budget presented to the General Assembly on behalf of the United Nations Secretary-General, to advise on any administrative and budgetary matters referred to the General Assembly, and to examine proposals for the financial arrangements of United Nations agencies.
It also considers the auditors' reports on the accounts of the United Nations and its agencies and reports to the General Assembly.
