Skyroot is an Indian private sector space startup company.
Recently it has introduced Vikram-1 rocket.
This first rocket of the private sector was unveiled by Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh in Hyderabad.
The company is preparing to launch this indigenously made rocket in the beginning of the year 2024.
With this rocket, 300 kg payload can be sent into low earth orbit.
Vikram-1 Satellite Launch Vehicle is an all-carbon fighter-body rocket.
It has a 3D printed liquid engine.
Vikram-1 has the capacity to deliver about 300 kg payload into low earth orbit.
This will be Skyroot's second rocket.
Skyroot was established in the year 2018.
Its headquarters is located in Hyderabad.
