  • Recently Shri Anna Mahotsav has been organized in Lucknow.
  • The festival was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
  • Through this festival, the state government will not only honor the progressive farmers but will also inspire other farmers for millets products. Besides, it will also create awareness about the production, consumption, marketing, export etc. of millets crops.
  • In this festival, farmers of different divisions will also be trained for the production of Shree Anna.
  • 35 FPOs will be given certificates for seed money in the state level millets workshop.
  • The Chief Minister will provide Rs 4 lakh per unit to each FPO.
  • Besides, grant money will also be given to government institutions setting up millets-based processing plants.
