This discovery was made by I.I.T. Done by researchers from Ropar.

Tantalum is a rare metal with atomic number 73.
It is known for its brown color, heaviness and exceptional hardness.
It is one of the most corrosion-resistant metals, forming an oxide layer when exposed to air.

The highly corrosion-resistant property of the rare metal makes it suitable for use in corrosive environments.
This property is beneficial in electronic components that may be exposed to harsh conditions or reactive substances.
The annual report of the Union Ministry of Mines lists tantalum as one of the 12 important and strategic minerals.
