Abdul Kalam Island is located in Odisha.
It was formerly known as Wheeler Island.
Recently DRDO from this island. has successfully tested 'Pralaya' ballistic missile.
Pralay is a surface-to-surface ballistic missile.
The range of this missile is 350 to 500 km.
The load-carrying capacity of the catacombs is 500–1,000 kg.
Pralay is a solid-fueled missile based on the Prithvi Defense Vehicle.
