  • On 15th November, Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) Development Mission was launched from Khunti district of Jharkhand.
  • This mission was started by the Prime Minister.
  • The Mission will benefit 75 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups-PVTGs across 18 States and Union Territories.
  • This mission was announced in the Union Budget 2023 - 24.
  • Rs 24000 crore will be spent on this scheme.
  • PVTG in tribal groups Are more vulnerable.
  • 75 PVTGs listed. The largest number of these is found in Odisha.
  • This mission will be implemented by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
