On 15th November, Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) Development Mission was launched from Khunti district of Jharkhand.
This mission was started by the Prime Minister.
The Mission will benefit 75 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups-PVTGs across 18 States and Union Territories.
This mission was announced in the Union Budget 2023 - 24.
Rs 24000 crore will be spent on this scheme.
PVTG in tribal groups Are more vulnerable.
75 PVTGs listed. The largest number of these is found in Odisha.
This mission will be implemented by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
