The National Pollution Response Exercise is being organized in Vadinar, Gujarat from 24 to 25 November.
Vadinar is situated in the Gulf of Kutch.
It is being organized by the Indian Coast Guard.
This is the 9th edition of the National Pollution Response Exercise.
This exercise is an important initiative that tests various aspects of marine pollution response mechanisms and assesses the preparedness of resource agencies to deal with any marine spill contingencies.
Indian Coast Guard Director General Rakesh Pal initiated the exercise.
