Justice Manoj Gupta has been appointed the acting Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court in November, 2023.
Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta was appointed as Additional Judge on 12 April 2013.
On 10 April 2015, he took oath as a permanent judge.
Allahabad High Court Chief Justice Pritinkar Diwakar is scheduled to retire on November 22.
Pritinkar Diwakar was sworn in as the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court in March 2023.
The sanctioned number of judges in Allahabad High Court is 160.
At present 92 judges are working in it.
Allahabad High Court was established in the year 1866 AD.
In the year 1869 AD it was shifted from Agra to Allahabad.
