  • Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has recently created 'FEAST' software.
  • This software will be used to perform finite element analysis of various types of structures including rockets, aircraft, satellites, buildings etc.
  • It will predict how a component or structure reacts to real-world forces such as structural loads, thermal conditions, and other physical effects.
  • FEAST will be available to three broad categories of users.
  • These categories are – Academic (for students and educational institutions), Premium (for small and medium scale industries) and Professional (for general large scale applications).
