In October 2023, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar Prasad visited Vietnam.
During this time, India-Vietnam Joint Commission meeting was held.
This was the 18th India-Vietnam joint meeting.
This meeting was co-chaired by S. Jaishankar Prasad and Bui Than Son.
Bui Thanh Son is the Foreign Minister of Vietnam.
In this joint meeting, cooperation in political, defense and maritime security, judicial, trade and investment, energy, development, education and training, science and technology and cultural fields was discussed.
