I.N.S. Sumedha is an indigenously developed warship.
Recently it has completed anti-piracy patrol operations in the Atlantic Ocean.
This campaign was completed in 31 days.
Under the campaign, INS. Sumedha patrolled the Gulf of Guinea.
This is I.N.S. This was Sumedha's second patrolling operation.
I.N.S. This operation of Sumedha will boost Indian Navy's relationship with regional navies including Senegal, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Angola and Namibia.
I.N.S. Sumedha is a Saryu class warship.
It recently took part in Operation Kaveri to evacuate Indian people from Sudan.
