Hitesh Kumar Makwana has been appointed as Surveyor General of India in November, 2023.
Hitesh was appointed by the Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet.
Before this, Hitesh was working as Additional Secretary in the Home Ministry.
The post of Surveyor General of India is under the Survey of India.
