Guided Missile Destroyer frigate, 'Surat' has been built under 'Project 15B'.
Recently this warship was unveiled in Gujarat.
This warship was launched by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
This warship will become part of the Western Naval Command.
A total of 4 warships are to be built under 'Project 15B'.
Warship Surat is the fourth and last warship of this project.
It is built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited.
This is the first warship to be named after any city in Gujarat.
