  • Delhi International Airport Limited has launched the Sunflower Program in November, 2023.
  • This program has been started for invisible disabilities.
  • This program will ensure easy mobility to people with invisible disabilities.
  • Under this program, facilities of sunflower lanyards, pin badge and wristband will be provided.
  • Sunflower merchandise will be available at the helpdesk and information counters located within the terminals.
  • By wearing a sunflower lanyard, pin, or wristband, individuals with an invisible disability can easily represent themselves.
  • Can explain their needs to the airport staff, who will approach them sympathetically and provide necessary assistance.
  • With a globally developed framework, all tools and partners through this program are adapted to people with invisible disabilities.
  • An invisible disability is a physical, mental or neurological condition that is not visible externally.
  • Still may limit or challenge a person's movements, senses, or gestures.
  • Invisible Disability Week is observed every year from 15 to 21 October.
