The navies of India and Bangladesh recently participated in the 'Coordinated Patrol' joint military exercise.
This was the 5th edition of 'Coordinated Patrol'.
This exercise was conducted in the North Bay of Bengal.
INS Kuthar and INS Kiltan participated in this exercise from the Indian Navy.
INS Kuthar is an indigenously built guided-missile corvette, while INS Kiltan is an indigenously built anti-submarine corvette.
The navies of both the countries conducted joint patrolling near the International Maritime Boundary Line and later conducted maritime exercises to enhance interoperability.
