  • Recently the Competition Commission of India has become a member of the International Competition Network (ICN).
  • CCI was incorporated at the International Competition Network meeting held in Barcelona, Spain.
  • This membership of CCI is for 2 years.
  • The ICN comprises 140 competition regulatory agencies from 130 countries.
  • It provides an exclusive but informal venue for competition authorities to maintain regular contact and address practical competition-related concerns.
  • The International Competition Network was established in the year 2001.
