In January 2024, the Assam government has started the 'Gunotsav' program.
The objective of this program is to evaluate the performance of the students of the state.
Under this, the educational activities of 40 lakh children of the state will be assessed.
Gunotsav is a program launched by the Government of Assam with the aim of involving all the primary and secondary schools in the state.
'Gunotsav' aims to increase accountability and improve the quality of education by actively involving teachers, students, administrators, and local communities.
This program has 4 dimensions – children's learning outcomes, co-scholastic, infrastructure, and community participation.
