'Institute of Civil Engineers' is a British organization.
She is the first Indian to become the president of this organization.
She has become the first Indian-origin to be elected president of the institute in its 205-year history.
The Institute of Civil Engineers is an independent association and charitable body of civil engineering professionals.
ICE aims to support the civil engineering profession by providing professional qualifications, promoting education, maintaining professional ethics and liaising with industry, academia and government.
It was established in January, 1818 AD.
