Recently a proposal has been sent to include this national park in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This proposal has been sent by Kanger Valley National Park Management to the Archaeological Survey Department, Government of India.
Kanger Valley National Park management claims that this national park fulfills the 10 criteria established by UNESCO.
This national park is famous throughout the country for its biodiversity, natural beauty, caves, springs, and waterfalls.
This national park has high mountains, deep valleys, huge trees, and various species of seasonal wildflowers and wildlife.
