  • On November 1, a total of 55 cities of the world have been included in this global network.
  • UNESCO Creative Cities Network was established in the year 2004.
  • The aim of this network is to foster collaboration between cities that recognize creativity as a strategic factor in their urban development and incorporate that factor into policy making.
  • Including Gwalior and Kozhikode, now 8 cities of India are included in this list.
  • Jaipur was first included in this network in the year 2015.
