Recently Roaring Revival: Tigers of India was inaugurated in New Delhi.
It was inaugurated by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar.
It is produced by the All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society.
The exhibition titled 'Roaring Revival' celebrates 50 years of success of Project Tiger.
Project Tiger was launched in 1973.
Project Tiger started with 9 tiger reserves and now the tiger habitat has expanded to 75000 square kilometers under 54 tiger reserves.
This is 2.3 percent of the total land area of India.
Today this country is home to 75 percent of the total global population of tigers.
