The Reserve Bank of India has granted approval to Currant Sea Investments B.V., an affiliate of global private equity firm Warburg Pincus, to acquire up to a 9.99% stake in IDFC First Bank. The development, disclosed via a regulatory filing, comes after the Competition Commission of India had also cleared the investment on June 3, 2025.
