  • Ravinder Bhakar, CEO of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), was appointed as the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), films division, and the Children Films Society of India (CFSI).
  • Ravinder Bhakar, a 1999-batch Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) officer, has been assigned these responsibilities in addition to his current duties as CEO of the film certification body. 
  • As a result, all film-related departments of M/o I&B, which is headquartered in Mumbai, have been consolidated under a single command.
