  • Indian off-spinner R Ashwin officially announced his retirement from all formats of international cricket during a press conference at the Gabba on 18 December 2024.
  • Ashwin finished his illustrious career with 537 wickets in 106 Test matches and was part of the team that won the ODI World Cup in 2011.
