PETA India has honoured actor Raveena Tandon for her commitment to wildlife protection, her meat-free lifestyle, and efforts to promote compassion for animals. Earlier, she and her daughter Rasha Thadani presented a life-sized mechanical elephant to Karnataka’s Thousand Pillars Jain Temple as support for its decision not to use live elephants.
