At the 16th Asian Shooting Championship in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, India’s Rashmika Sahgal clinched the junior women’s air pistol gold medal with a commanding score of 241.9, 4.3 points ahead of Korea’s Han Seunghyun. This marked India’s third individual gold on day two of the event. Rashmika also secured a team gold along with Vanshika Chaudhary and Mohini Singh, after an impressive qualification score of 582. Meanwhile, Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker won bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event with a score of 219.7.
