Rasabali sweets is a food product of Odisha.
Recently this food product was developed by G. I. tag has been provided.
Rasabali sweets originate from the old Baladevji temple located in Kendrapada town.
It consists of deep-fried flat red brown patties of cheese dipped in condensed milk.
Rasbali is one of the main offerings of the temple.
In the year 2021, Kendrapara Rasabali Makers Association and Rural Infrastructure Development and Employment had applied to get GI tag for Rasabali.
With the receipt of GI tag, people involved in the sweet business will now get better prices.
Also, this sweet will no longer be adulterated in any way.
