101-year-old man Rajinder Singh Dhatt was awarded the Points of Light award by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
The award ceremony took place during the UK-India Week reception at 10 Downing Street.
Rajinder Singh Dhatt was recognized for his outstanding service and unwavering commitment to uniting veterans of the British Indian War.
He played an important role as the driving force behind the "Undivided Indian Ex-Servicemen Association".
Rajinder Singh Dhatt served in the British Indian Army during World War II, which highlights his devotion to his country.
