On National Energy Conservation Day, Union Energy Minister RK Singh presented the National Energy Conservation Award to Rajasthan.
In recognition of Rajasthan's exemplary achievements for other states, it has been announced that this award will be given to Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation in the State Performance category.
Previously, Rajasthan was named the frontrunner state in the Central Government's energy efficiency sector.
The Central Government selects for this award on the basis of the parameters mentioned in the State Energy Efficiency Index.
