  • Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced that 19 new districts will be formed in Rajasthan along with three new divisions. 
  • Sikar, Pali, and Banswara are among the three new divisions that will be established. 
  • Gehlot made this statement while replying to the Budget debate in the Rajasthan Assembly.
  • Earlier, there were 31 districts but following the creation of new districts, Rajasthan will now have 50 districts. 
  • Apart from it, the state will now have 10 divisions after the induction of 3 more divisions in the state.
  • Sikar, Pali, and Banswara will now serve as the new divisions in Rajasthan.
