  • For the years 2021 and 2022, the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize will be presented jointly.
  • Journalist-author Raj Kamal Jha got the award in 2020 for his novel "The City and the Sea."
  • The prize money for this award was reduced to half from USD 10,000 to USD 5,000, due to  Covid-19 impact on global economic.
