ISRO’s PSLV-C62 launch, which was carrying the EOS-N1 earth observation satellite along with 15 other co-passenger satellites, could not complete its intended flight path on Monday after an anomaly occurred near the conclusion of the third stage. This resulted in the loss of all onboard satellites and led the space agency to initiate a detailed technical review.
The four-stage launch vehicle lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, at 10.18 a.m. and performed normally until the latter part of the third stage, when a disturbance in roll rates was observed, according to ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan.
