  • 'Project Kuiper' is a space project of Amazon company.
  • Recently Amazon has launched its first satellite.
  • This project has a pair of satellites named 'Kuipersat-1' and 'Kuipersat-2'.
  • It was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida using a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket.
  • These have been installed in an orbit about 500 kilometers above the earth.
  • Amazon plans to launch 3000 Kuiper satellites.
  • All these satellites will be installed in lower earth orbit.
  • The objective of 'Project Kuiper' is to make Internet communication universally accessible.
